Hi, I’m Owen Gartside.

It's not easy to try and get who you are across in a few words, but I'll give it a go! Here is a bit about my experience, what drives me forward with this business and a bit about me personally.

About my experience…

I have over 10 years’ experience in the construction industry, running the finances and operations of a building company and supporting clients through their projects with budgeting and general guidance. Before that my experience was largely in finance roles, honing my numerical and budgeting skills.

About my missions…

I have two key missions with this business. These are very important to me and are the driving force behind the concept and the high quality service I want to deliver.

Firstly, I want to save you money. Because it happens so often, overspending on a build project is often accepted as the norm. I want to change that. With proper planning and preparation, your build budget can be something you can trust and rely on.

Secondly, I want everyone involved in your build project to enjoy the experience as much as possible. It can be a stressful and scary time but with having a better understanding of the process and decisions you'll have to make, your relationship with builders and suppliers can be a happy one, reducing worry, stress and conflict.

About me…

I'm from Doncaster originally but can also call Manchester and Auckland, New Zealand my home having spent many happy years living in each. I'm now in Winchester with my wife, 2 young children and 2 old dogs. I love sport and am an avid fan of Oldham Athletic, Formula 1 and the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL. None of which are bringing me much joy at the moment! (I look forward to the day I get to edit out that last sentence)
